INCI: Commiphora myrrha
Myrrh Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the natural resin of the Commiphora myrrha tree. It is distinguished by its rich, earthy, balsamic, and slightly smoky aroma, making it highly valued in aromatherapy and natural perfumery. The principal producing regions include Oman, Yemen, and Ethiopia.
Traditionally used in skincare formulations for dry, dehydrated, and stressed skin, Myrrh is appreciated for its soothing and skin-conditioning properties. It helps support skin comfort and softness and is commonly incorporated into balms, creams, body oils, and soaps.
