INCI: Stearic Acid
It is a natural product, and one of the most well-known saturated fatty acids, that is abundant in plant sources such as cocoa butter and shea butter.
It is used as a paraffin wax hardener, while giving a whiter appearance to the candle.
Usage rate up to 10%.
Other uses: As a coagulator and emollient factor in certain cosmetic formulations (usage rate 3%), or as a soap hardener.
