INCI: Cupressus sempervirens
Cypress Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and young twigs of Cupressus sempervirens. It is distinguished by its fresh, woody, resinous, and subtly smoky aroma, creating a clean, balanced, and uplifting atmosphere. Today, France and Spain are among the principal producers of this essential oil.
Traditionally used in aromatic blends that help create a fresh and purified environment, Cypress essential oil is appreciated for its revitalising and balancing fragrance. It is commonly incorporated into massage oils and body care products formulated for oily or blemish-prone skin, as well as into blends intended to improve the appearance of the skin through massage. Its elegant forest-like aroma also makes it a popular ingredient in perfumery and home fragrance products.

Contraindications: Considered non-toxic when used as directed and properly diluted. As with all essential oils, a patch test is recommended before topical application.
