Eucalyptus Essential Oil
INCI: Eucalyptus globulus
Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Eucalyptus globulus) is obtained by steam distillation of the tree's leaves. It is characterised by its fresh, camphoraceous, and clean aroma, providing an invigorating and refreshing scent. Major producing countries include Spain, China, and Portugal.
Traditionally used in aromatherapy, perfumery, and personal care products, Eucalyptus essential oil is valued for its clean and revitalising fragrance. It is commonly incorporated into steam inhalations, balms, ointments, massage oils, and seasonal wellness products. It is also appreciated for its cleansing properties and is widely used in soaps, cosmetics, home fragrances, and natural household cleaning products. For gentler applications, particularly for sensitive individuals, Eucalyptus radiata is often preferred due to its softer aromatic profile.
Extraction Method: Steam distillation of the leaves.
